Attorney Maiya J. Safikovs is a managing partner at Safikovs Law, LLC. Maiya Safikovs attended the University of Georgia where she studied journalism and political science. Maiya also holds a masters degree in land use planning from Georgia State University. In 2007 Mrs. Safikovs obtained her Juris Doctorate from the University of Georgia, school of law. Maiya began her legal career at a prestigious land use development firm, where she assisted clients with rezoning issues, land use development, and community participation plans. Maiya also has extensive experience in the criminal defense area. She quickly developed a reputation for aggressively and compassionately representing clients after she successfully managed over one hundred cases at a reputable criminal defense firm.
